It all began with a love for two things.
Making people happy and cooking good food.
Some years ago I started experimenting with smoking meat as a hobby. And as friends and family tasted my food, they requested more…and more…and more.
One mouthwatering bite of brisket led to another, and before I knew it, catering requests poured in. Folks began to serve up heaping portions of praise, and always asked, “When are you going to open a restaurant?”
Well, after recently retiring from my full-time job, traveling the world or watching reruns of Judge Judy wasn’t exactly how I wanted to spend my free time. So my dream of finally opening my own restaurant has become a reality.
Our goal is simple — To serve our customers great BBQ in a friendly environment where you feel like family. It’s not easy work, but we love what we do.
We believe there are no shortcuts to doing it right. Leon’s Smoke Shack BBQ is fueled by nothing but pecan wood and passion. We’d love the opportunity to serve you.
